It’s time to vote for the worst employer of the year! Employment Attorney Jon Hyman, over at Ohio Employer Law Blog keeps a running list throughout the year. We narrowed it down a few weeks ago, and now we have the final four!

Go vote here: Worst employee of the year, 2018!

“Interesting “list of problems, as all should have been disciplined way before the circumstances described. Blaming the cultural environment doesn’t make those situations right.

I was expecting this to be a list of bosses with weird, annoying personality quirks. Just reading the first one (racist) as if I was there in the room had me terrified. And reading about the car salesman made me want to cry. These four aren’t just bad bosses – they’re horrible human beings.

These make the ones at Ask-A-Manager seem really lightweight!

I’d love to see a similar one with bad employers too.

The one I was expecting to see mentioned was Sam’s Club, which closed with no warning at all, meaning employees showed up for work and found the doors locked.

Wow. I mean, I thought I had a crappy employer because they can’t find a fig to give about employee engagement and motivation. Just, wow.
