Normally, I don't do such a thing either. But, every time I went into my email it was bothering me that there were so many unread emails and I knew I would never, ever be able to get to all of them. So, I figured, might as well start fresh.

Surely I can't be the only one that keeps everything in my mailbox? Occasionally I'm forced to empty my work email box - 10,000 emails is my record so far (and no this doesn't include archived emails - I can almost see the astonished IT types as they read this). Typically through I do clear out my emails on rare occasions, once an email is more than two years old I consider reconciling it to the trash bin. As for deleting unread emails - noooooo.

Oh, books. Books, books, books. We now have Kindles, which on the one hand, keeps down on the clutter, but I feel bad that I can't donate read ones any more.

That said, I took about 3 boxes to my daughter's school book sale and then two of the bags for the thrift store were books.

Books multiply like crazy.

Hope you find a job soon!

LOL! Me either. Tis the season to be purge-y!

Since I still don't have a job and my unemployment runs out on 12/29 (grrr!), I have been trying to clean out my house on the off-chance that I will have to leave it. Unfortunately, I don't have much worth selling and people are so cheap these days. But it felt good to donate eight boxes of books to the library sale, and to throw out a bunch of junk I've been lugging around for years!
