That said, a lot of studies have shown that hours don&#039;t account for all, or even most, pay discrepancies. Ill try to find the link, but Advisory Board looked at Dr. pay and found that their pay was overall 20% less even though as a cohort their WRVUs were 5% higher. 

My general experience is that women continue to get delegated work that is undervalued, men get away with assertive behaviors that get women labeled abrasive, and that women get punished when they fight for their equal pay either by negotiating at hire or for raises.]]></description>
