In reply to Jimmy McSavage. But its a university, that means hundreds of orders a month from staff and students (if they have housing). It's not $9 a month. Though the mandate region thing may be due to wanting to open another one in that area so they have 2 instead of 1 and dont cipher off from a close by location.

Gee Elizabeth West, they wouldn’t chase customers outside of their business model, or more likely outside of their franchise agreement mandated ‘region’. Did they know it was you?

BTW they seem to be doing OK despite not having your $8.50 / month. 🙂

Not directly related to employment agreements, but fits the “because they can” philosophy…

I once had a contract that included the clause “throughout the universe”. Yes, really. As if I was going to set up shop on the Moon or in the Andromeda galaxy….

That contract was not signed.

This is disgusting. I already gave up on Jimmy John’s because they won’t deliver to my work (a very large campus a mere block out of their designated area, and they could make bucks doing so if they just extended it). But this kind of corporate dickery means they will never see any of my money ever again.
