  1. Corporations have become so accustomed to using and abusing employees, so it’s quite a shock when they have to compete for “talent”.

    Add to this the power of the internet to allow people to share what it is really like to work for company XYZ, bad companies are getting what they deserve.

  2. I work for a pretty good company, with decent benefits, their problem is that they underpay for the industry. We get plenty of qualified applicants and promptly lose them with our offer… It’s also becoming more difficult to keep talented employees.
