When I think of a visionary leader, I think of someone who sees the whole picture with all the details and can envision another way to do the same thing better in ways that may change the status quo and does it anyway despite the backlash against change. Not all visionaries get recognized and appreciated during their lifetime but after. It takes a special kind of courage to do this.
