Is Your Team Burnt Out? Unrealistic Workplace Expectations Might Be to Blame

Deloitte’s Gen Z and Millennial survey found that “96 percent of Gen Zs and 97 percent of millennials say that having a sense of purpose at work is important to their overall job satisfaction and well-being.”

And it’s not just lip service. These groups live this way. The Deloitte report continues: “About 40 percent of respondents have rejected a potential employer based on their personal ethics or beliefs, and 68 percent of Gen Zs and 72 percent of millennials say their current job enables them to make a meaningful contribution to society.”

So why are Gen Zs struggling with mental health?

They seek out purpose; they appear to be finding it, and yet their mental health is a disaster. Simply Psychology wrote:
