The Coldplay Concert Couple Can’t Be Trusted to Lead

A Coldplay concert seems like a fun place for a date—unless your date might also be your affair partner. And especially if you’re the CEO of a billion-dollar software development company and she’s your chief people officer.

In a viral video, Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and chief people officer Kristin Cabot appear as a happy couple enjoying the concert at Gillette Stadium, outside Boston—until they realize their inappropriate embrace is being broadcast to the world. Their discomfort when they notice the camera makes it clear they didn’t want anyone to see them.

The band’s lead singer, Chris Martin, is heard on the video as they cringe away from the spotlight, saying “Oh, look at these two. Alright, come on. You’re OK. Oh, what? Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.” Neither Byron nor Cabot has made any public comment on the video.
