The Customer Isn’t Always Right. Sometimes Great Managers Tell Them to Leave

A small ice cream shop in Massachusetts went viral after the owner posted a profanity-laden screed against bad customers on the company’s Facebook page.

Coldstuff Ice-cream posted:

I swear to God. STOP YELLING AT MY [F-ING EMPLOYEES]. They are children. This job, for most of them is their first. They are going to make mistakes. They aren’t in charge of anything. This can all be fixed with a smile and a polite attitude. It’s ice cream for crying out loud. Grow up and act your age.

While I can’t condone f-bombs, this is an example of the best kind of manager: one who has his employees’ backs.
