Amanda Knox Shares the Prison Epiphany That You Should Follow

Amanda Knox was an American foreign exchange student in Italy when someone murdered her roommate, Meredith Kercher. Italian courts convicted Knox and sentenced her to 26 years for a crime she didn’t commit. (Burgler Rudy Guede was later convicted.)

While Knox was exonerated, she spent four long years in prison. What a horrible situation to be in! Losing your roommate to a horrific crime is bad enough, but to be convicted of the crime would be utterly devastating. No one would have blamed her if she just gave up on life while trapped in prison.

However, that’s not what Knox did. In a recent Twitter thread, she explains the epiphany that changed her life.
